Can you work with all types of mental health difficulties? On the whole, yes. However, although we are experienced in working with a wide range of mental health difficulties, very rarely we may decide that we are not the best service to meet your needs. This is because some individuals may benefit from more intensive or crisis services or require a specific area of expertise. Should this be the case we would facilitate your referral to that service.

What happens if I cannot make it?  Please let us know as soon as possible as we may be able to reschedule to a more convenient time. We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy otherwise full fees will apply.

Why might I consider seeing a Private Psychologist? The services of Psychologists are offered by most NHS Trusts, therefore in the first instance contact your GP. They should be able to let you know what services are available locally and the availability of these. Some people decide to self-refer to a private Clinical Psychologist who may be able to see them sooner, offer different treatments and/or offer more sessions than might be available on the NHS.
